A Song For Susan

In the morning you arrive,
A radiating smile.
A smile I’ve,
I must admit
Been loving for a while.

Some things are said through actions,
Others said through words,
Some things are tough
To say enough,
because they’re never heard

You added glitter to your lips,
You knew it made them shine,
And yet you trust me not to try
To kiss and make them mine.

Like the wind that meets a mountain,
Stopping Dead just as it should;
What? Coax a Spark?
To Light the Dark?

You know I never would.

You added glitter to your lips,
You knew it made them shine,

But the reason that you made them glisten,
And this part is important! Listen!
Was cause you knew
Though I Love You,

I’d never try to kiss them
